The Wuyi Mountains stand in the northern part of the Fujian province. The place has been known for its picturesque scenery, ancient cultural heritage, and, best of all, its unique rock tea. The tea bushes are grown atop hills and cliffs through which a swerving creek runs quietly, carrying bamboo crafts maneuvered by locals who would recite to you those legends and folklores past down for perhaps centuries.

The music is to accompany a dance performance on stage, which consists of roughly four parts:

• The Creek and Peaks in the Dawn
• Dances of the Tea-Picking Girls
• Dusk and Night
• Bonfire
